The search engine strategy that we implemented for Blackbridge Wealth Advisory in summer-2011 focused on two different search phrases, and yielded the ultimate success, i.e., placed them on the first page of Google.
Blackbridge Wealth Advisory engaged Morpheus Studios to help establish an online presence. Our first step was to research the most common search terms for the industry (financial consultation). This is often the first step in any campaign. We found two terms that matched the industry and were not overly competitive.
Next, we looked at Blackbridge’s existing website structure. We noticed several technical issues with the site framework that needed to be adjusted to improve visibility to the search engines. We also found repetition in the link structure and content – two big no-no’s in the world of search engine optimization.
After correcting these issues, we spruced up the website content, adjusting titles and paragraphs to better match the search words being targeted. Having dealt with these “on-site” factors, we started looking at “off-site” optimization factors, including social networking sites and news article submissions.
We’re proud that our efforts placed Blackbridge Wealth on page one of Google, with one phrase in the number four position and the other at the top.
